The Foreign Service was incorporated in 1984 and we get great satisfaction that many of our current customers have been with us since the beginning. Our emphasis on good communication and quality workmanship are the reason for such loyalty from our customers. We rely on referrals and word-of-mouth recommendations, as we do very little advertising (not even in the Yellow Pages).
I have been a professional import car technician since the early seventies, and hold the highest certification level available in my profession. I spend a significant part of my professional life keeping up to date with changes in technology.
Because of this dedication to learning, the Foreign Service has become known for solving the "unfixable" problems. Diagnostics is one of our specialties -- we will replace only the parts you need. Our services range from routine oil changes to major engine repair.
We can offer you repair choices that other shops might not be willing or able to offer you, as we care for cars from "cradle to the grave". Our philosophy has always been that the repair must be suited to both the car and the customer.
For example, if you have a three year old car and a 15 year old car, you might want to scrupulously maintain the newer car and do only the bare minimum to the older one. It is your decision.
We believe that by having the same shop doing both the scheduled maintenance and the unscheduled repairs, the cost of owning your car over its lifetime will be significantly less compared to switching from shop to shop. We will help you track maintenance intervals, warranties, and the overall condition of your car.
Our goal is to make caring for your car as enjoyable as possible. We recognize our regular customers by name and take the time to learn what matters most to you whether it is budget, reliability, speed of repairs, frequent updates, or answering technical questions.
Bring your car in for something simple -- such as a "while you wait" oil change -- and check out our large and modern facility. Or just stop by if you have any questions. We're available between 8 a.m. and noon, and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Mondays through Fridays.
If I'm not available, just ask for Betsy, the Service Manager. She will be happy to assist you.
